Temple 77, Dōryū-ji
Doryu-ji is temple No. 77 on the Shikoku pilgrimage.
The first thing you see are the huge straw sandals in the temple gate. It was founded in 749 as an act of repentance by one Wake no Michitaka for accidentally shooting his nurse with an arrow.
