Dōgo no Oyado Iwasaki is located on a quiet street in Dōgo, very close to Dōgo Park and a short walk to Dōgo Onsen Honkan. Dōgo Kōen tram station is nearby, making this an ideal base for exploring Dōgo, Matsuyama, and places further afield.
The hotel itself was formerly an elderly care home, so its layout and facilities are perfectly suited to guests with mobility issues.
Guest rooms include twin, double and triple rooms with beds, and Japanese rooms with futons. All rooms have a spacious, ensuite bathroom and toilet. All rooms are non-smoking.
The hotel has a mini-kitchen and refrigerator for guests to use, and there’s a large supermarket within two minutes’ walk, freeing you to prepare your own meals if you wish. There’s a pleasant rooftop veranda where you can sit outside in good weather.
Healthy, Japanese breakfast and lunch featuring locally sourced ingredients are available. A reservation three days in advance is required.
Colourful yukata are provided, and the hotel also has a kimono rental service for ladies who would like to sashay around Dōgo in style.
