Departing Takamatsu, we walk the most strenuous and picturesque pilgrimage trail in Kagawa, visiting Temple 80 Kokubun-ji and Temple 81 Shiromine-ji, high up on the impressive Mt. Goshikidai plateau. Your guide will explain how pilgrims worship at the temples. At Shiromine-ji, you can visit the mausoleum of one of Japan’s medieval emperors.
Lunch is Kagawa’s famous udon noodles.
