Departing Matsuyama city, we walk the most strenuous and picturesque pilgrimage trails in Ehime, visiting Temple 44 Daihō-ji and Temple 45 Iwaya-ji. These are two of the most spectacular temples on the pilgrimage. Your guide will explain how pilgrims worship at the temples. We enjoy a packed lunch on the trail. The weird rock formations here leave make an unforgettable impression.
After the mountain walk, we take a relaxing dip in the rustic Furuiwaya hot spring.
