Nyoho-ji Temple
This Rinzai Zen temple, built in 1670, stands in beautiful, mossy grounds, with trees that bear a different expression in each season. The Rinzai sect was popular with samurai, and this was the family temple of the leaders of the Ozu Domain.
At the temple, you can experience Zen practice, with a Dharma talk, zazen seated meditation, followed by tea.
